  • SURVEYOR

    Candidate will have 5 years experience as a Party Chief, plus an A.S. in surveying or equivalent work experience of seven years. Experience must include performance of construction, topographical, boundary, and aerial surveys. Proven ability to perform coordinate geometry calculations using hand-held programmable calculator and direct the work of others.

  • ASSOCIATE PROJECT ENGINEER/MANAGER
    PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION


    Candidate will have a BSCE, California PE Registration, plus a minimum of five (5) years of public works experience or the equivalent of ten (10) years of total work experience.

    Candidates for this position must demonstrate independent thought and decision-making abilities, possess management and supervisory skills, and be adept in establishing and maintaining strong and positive working relationships with clients and public agency personnel as well as in-house professional peers.

    Candidates experience must include the following: supervision of engineering designers (including daily assignments of work, review of work, and quality control), management of project schedules and budgets, preparation of contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work, and significant experience in client and public-agency interactions.

    Candidates technical experience must include the following: public agencies, capital improvement projects, design-build projects, pipeline projects, preliminary engineering design studies (incorporating assessment and consideration of site constraints and potential regulatory issues), preparation/processing of public works, improvement plans and specifications, development/preparation/processing of design-build documents for contractor clients and public agency owners.

    Position generally requires extensive experience and demonstrated engineering abilities in all aspects of public works infrastructure projects and in interacting comfortably and productively with clients and public agencies.
