What is more important to a community than the safety of its children?

Rick Engineering Company prepared grant applications for the City of Murrieta and the Murrieta Valley Unified School District for sidewalk improvements. The improvements provide a safer pedestrian environment for a local elementary and junior high school in the area.

One segment of the project (approx 4,100 feet) consists of reducing the existing roadway width to accommodate the new sidewalk. Another segment (approx. 1,700 feet) consisted of constructing a sidewalk adjacent to the existing curb.

Kids, parents, teachers, and community leaders all have benefited from this project.
