Mercury Insurance Parking Structure

Rick Engineering Company performed civil engineering and surveying services for Mercury Insurance on two parking structure projects.
The first project was completed in 2005. Rick Engineering Company worked with the project architect, International Parking Design, to develop a three-story parking structure at the Mercury Insurance office complex on Greenbriar Lane in the City of Brea. Grading, Utility and Site Improvement plans were prepared and processed through the City of Brea and the Orange County Flood Control District.
The second project was completed in 2009. On this project Rick Engineering Company worked with a different architect, Parkitects Inc., to develop another three-story parking structure. This project was also on an existing office building site on Imperial Highway in Brea. Again plans were prepared and processed through the City.
Both projects required designing around constrained active sites with ADA and water quality concerns. In addition to designing the grading, surface improvements and site utilities, Rick Engineering prepared and processed drainage studies, Water Quality Management Plans (WQMP) and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) for each project. Rick Engineering also provided all surveying for the projects including topographic and boundary surveying, mapping and construction staking.
