Sediment Transport Analyses

Rick Engineering Company’s Water Resources Division prepares sediment transport models for many of our projects to analyze a riverine system’s anticipated response to steady and unsteady flows. Typical applications for sediment transport analyses include “soft-bottom” channel design, local and general scour at bridge abutments and piers, slope protection design, and alluvial fan studies.
